Frugence

Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 8, 2026

Frugence ("we," "us," or "our") is a personal finance app that helps you track spending, manage investments, and stay on top of your finances. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information, including data accessed through connected accounts such as Gmail.

Gmail Integration

If you choose to connect your Gmail account, Frugence requests read-only access to your emails in order to identify purchase receipts and order confirmations. We use this to automatically surface your spending history inside the app.

We only read emails. We never send, modify, or delete any messages on your behalf. We do not access your contacts, calendar, or any other Google services.

Your Gmail data is used solely to provide this feature to you. We do not sell it, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising or to train AI models.

You can disconnect Gmail at any time from within the app. You can also revoke access directly through your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Data Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored securely. Access to your information is restricted to your account only.

Google API Services

Frugence's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
